Film Education

I’m very grateful to have access to free/discount programming through The Northwest Film Forum. I’ve taken Film Fundamentals Class & Premier Pro Editing Classes.

I had the opportunity to write, cast, direct, and edit a short I wrote - The Spirit of the Theater

My 3 page script was selected to be the culmination project for the class - meaning the script was edited, cast, and filmed by my film class cohort at the Northwest Film Forum. I took a second class to learn premier and to edit the footage.

The short is still currently in post-production.

In addition to classes, the film forum has supported my other film project through grant funding.

The Spirit

of the

Theater

LOGLINE: A brazen Queer 20-something finally gets a day off from work to enjoy an afternoon at the movie theater, but seems to be too concerned about their popcorn to notice the supernatural and mystifying spirit of the theater.

Stage Management & Production

I’ve had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Stage Manager for Asé Theatre on various projects including staged readings and a full production of Dispersed: The Womxn of Region 6.

I really value being part of a team and collaborative art projects, and would love more opportunities to support QTBIPOC productions.

My Documentary

I’m currently writing, directing, and producing a documentary titled I AM NOT YOUR MAMMY.

My project has already received resources and financial support from The Northwest Film Forum and The Black Cinema Collective.
