The Creative Care Collective

The Creative Care Collective is a small Queer / Trans Black- centered and BIPOC artist led action to connect QTBIPOC (Queer/Trans Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities, artists and service providers to various creative, learning, and healing opportunities.

Creative Care Mini-Fest

  • Our first Creative Care Mini-Festival was held on August 26, 2023 at Volunteer Park in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.

The art festival is for Black, Brown, and Indigenous Queer & Trans creatives by 3 Black Queer/Trans teaching artists. Our goal is to connect our QTBIPOC communities to art, services, skill shares, and mindful moments to aid in healing through creative practices.

The organization of the event was well thought out, the workshops were a great addition and I LOVED the DJs

I went to the yoga session (haven’t been to a yoga class in years) and Chelsi made me feel comfortable and reminded me how important it is to tune in with your body. Also shoutout to the organizers for being so sweet/welcoming and giving out strawberries.
